Your Data on 128ordle
Last updated: October 7, 2026.
You are in control of the information tied to you on 128ordle. This page explains where it lives and how to see it, fix it, get a copy, or remove it.
Where your data lives
On your device. If you play without an account, your puzzles, streaks, statistics, and settings exist only in your browser storage. 128ordle cannot see or recover them, and clearing your browser data erases them. What is sent to the site is counts for the community totals: the result of a finished game, and how many guesses and boards an unfinished game reached. The words you guess are not sent.
In your account. If you sign in, the site also stores your email address, username, display name, profile images, submitted results, statistics, achievements, friends, purchases, and membership status.
With providers. Payment records sit with Stripe and usage events sit with the analytics tools described in Analytics and Tracking.
See and correct it
Your profile page shows what other players can see. Settings lets you change your username, display name, profile images, email address, and password. Settings, under Subscription, lists your membership and past one-time purchases.
Get a copy
Email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask for a copy of your data. There is no self-service export yet. Requests are answered within 30 days, and you may be asked to confirm you own the account first.
Delete your account
Open Settings, go to Details, and choose Delete account. You will be asked to confirm, and there is no undo.
Deletion removes your login, profile, uploaded avatar and banner images, results, statistics, friendships, and account billing records. Game progress stored on that device is cleared as well.
If you have an active 128ordle+ membership, deleting your account cancels it straight away. The current billing period is not refunded, so if you want to use the time you have paid for, cancel first and delete later.
What deletion does not remove
Stripe keeps payment records for as long as financial rules require. Usage history already sent to analytics providers is not erased automatically. Database backups expire on their own schedule rather than being edited. Party chat messages may be kept as a moderation record. Counts from games you left unfinished are stored against a random browser ID, not your account, so deleting your account does not remove them.
If you want any of those removed as well, email [email protected] and say so. The request will be carried out wherever the law and the provider allow.
If you play as a guest
Clear this site's data in your browser settings to remove everything stored on your device. Guest results and unfinished-game counts that were sent to the community statistics are stored against a random browser ID, not a name or email address, so 128ordle cannot tell which ones are yours.
Your legal rights
Depending on where you live, the law may give you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or move your personal information, and to withdraw consent. You can make any of these requests by email. If you are unhappy with a response you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Parents or guardians who believe a child under 13 has created an account can email the same address and the account will be reviewed and removed.
