Which puzzles are listed

This page lists the answers to yesterday’s classic five-letter daily puzzles with 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 and 128 boards. The 512, 1,024 and 2,048 board puzzles run for a week, a fortnight or a month, so their answers stay hidden until they close. The other word lengths and languages are not listed yet.

Why only yesterday

A daily puzzle is the same for everyone and closes at midnight UK time. Until then its answers appear only on your own board: a solved board shows its word, and a lost game reveals the ones you missed. Once the day is over, the answers are no longer a spoiler for anyone still playing it, so they are published here.

How the list is made

Every daily puzzle is built from its date, its board count and the answer list. The page repeats that calculation for yesterday’s date in your browser, so it always matches what the game served. Nothing about your own game is read or sent.

Using the list to improve

Compare the answers with the boards you missed. Look for families that differ by one letter, repeated letters you did not test, and endings you ruled out too early. Each word links to its dictionary entry on Wiktionary, which opens in a new tab, in case an answer was unfamiliar.
