Every month 128ordle publishes a recap of the month before. It leads with the number of games the community finished, how that compares with the previous month, and whether it was the biggest month so far.

The recap also estimates how many letters were typed, guesses made, boards solved and hours played across all players, counts the new player accounts created, and shows which board counts people played most.

Highlights cover the biggest full clear, the fastest timed daily 128-board clear, the most played board count and the busiest day. A new recap appears on the first day of each month, using UK calendar dates.

How the recap is counted

Games finished and new player accounts are exact counts for the month. Letters, guesses, boards and hours are estimates worked out from a sample of the month’s finished games, and letters typed is always calculated as five letters for every guess. How stats are counted has the detail.
