128ordle Copyright and Trademark Notice

128ordle is an independent browser word game. The 128ordle name, site copy, original guides, generated SEO pages, layout, code, artwork, screenshots, metadata, and game presentation are owned by 128ordle or its contributors unless a page states otherwise.

Wordle, Quordle, Octordle, Sedecordle, Duotrigordle, and other third-party game names may appear on 128ordle as descriptive references so players can understand compatible puzzle formats, search intent, and board-count comparisons. 128ordle does not claim ownership of those third-party marks.

128ordle is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to The New York Times Company or any Wordle rights holder. 128ordle does not use The New York Times logo, Wordle branding, copied trade dress, or official Wordle answer pages.

The word lists for the other word lengths (3 to 10 letters) and the language editions (Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian, Dutch, Indonesian, Swedish, Polish and Turkish) are built from third-party open data. That data stays under its own licences, which are not changed by anything on this page: Word frequencies: FrequencyWords by Hermit Dave, built from the OpenSubtitles 2018 corpus, licensed CC BY-SA 4.0. Spelling dictionaries from the LibreOffice dictionaries project: English (SCOWL and en_GB), Spanish (RLA-ES), French (Grammalecte), Brazilian Portuguese (VERO), German (igerman98, frami), Italian, Dutch (OpenTaal), Indonesian, Swedish, Polish (sjp.pl) and Turkish (Turkish Data Depository), each under its own open licence (GPL, LGPL, MPL, BSD or Creative Commons). Extra accepted English guesses: the ENABLE word list, public domain. Words kept out of the answers: the LDNOOBW lists, licensed CC BY 4.0. The lists were filtered and adapted for the game: accents that are not separate letters are removed, and only words of the right length are kept.
