How to play 6 letter 16 Wordle Infinite
Play 6 letter 16 Wordle on 128ordle: solve 16 different six-letter answers in 21 guesses. Type one word and press Enter to send it to every unsolved board at once.
Reading the clues
- A guess must be an accepted six-letter English word. British and American spellings are both accepted. Green means the right letter in the right position; yellow means the letter belongs in a different position.
- Grey means that copy of the letter did not match. If your guess repeats a letter, another copy can still be green or yellow. Use all the rows together to work out how many copies the answer can contain.
- Each board scores the guess on its own. A grey letter on one board can be green on another. Entering an exact answer solves that board, and solved boards stop receiving guesses. Clear every board before your guesses run out to win.
Why a repeated letter can be grey
In this made-up example, the answer is DINNER and the guess is MIDDLE. MIDDLE contains D twice, but DINNER has only one D. One D is coloured and the other is grey. A grey duplicate rules out an extra copy, not every D.
A plan for this puzzle
Sixteen boards are difficult to keep in memory. Work from the visible clue rows: clear a certain answer, inspect what it revealed, then move on. Turn on All guesses when an older grey or yellow tile could rule out one of your candidates.
What six letters changes
Each guess shows you six letters, so the keyboard fills in quickly and boards become readable sooner. Most players find the 6-letter edition a little kinder than the classic game once they adjust, but the words are longer and need more care to spell.
Six-letter answers are less crowded than short words, but endings repeat: BATTER, BETTER, BITTER, BUTTER, LETTER, LITTER; or BATTLE, BOTTLE, CATTLE, KETTLE, SETTLE. The ending turns green early and the opening letters stay open.
Know when you can afford a test word
You start with 5 spare turns: the guess limit minus the number of answers. During play, subtract unsolved boards from guesses left. A guess that solves nothing spends one spare turn; a correct answer keeps the margin.
At zero spare turns, every remaining guess must solve a board to clear the puzzle. A positive margin gives you room to test letters, but does not guarantee a win.
Practise without waiting
Infinite mode is free practice with a fresh random puzzle for each new run. There is no daily reset to wait for. Use it to try a different opening and compare runs at the same board count.
