Quordle Unlimited
How to play Quordle Infinite
Play Quordle on 128ordle: solve 4 distinct five-letter answers in 9 guesses. Type one word and press Enter to send it to every unsolved board at once.
Reading the clues
- A guess must be an accepted five-letter word. Green means the right letter in the right position; yellow means the letter belongs in a different position.
- Grey means that copy of the letter did not match. If your guess repeats a letter, another copy can still be green or yellow. Use all the rows together to work out how many copies the answer can contain.
- Each board scores the guess independently. A grey letter on one board can be green on another. Entering an exact answer solves that board; solved boards stop receiving guesses. Clear every board before your guesses run out to win.
Why a repeated letter can be grey
In this fictional example, the answer is APPLE and the guess is ALLEY. A is green. The first L is yellow, but the second L is grey because APPLE contains only one L. E is yellow and Y is grey. A grey duplicate rules out an extra copy, not every occurrence of that letter.
A plan for this puzzle
Four boards are small enough to scan after every guess. If one board is stuck between two answers, inspect the other three before taking a chance. A certain answer elsewhere may contain the letter that separates your two candidates.
Know when you can afford a test word
Start with 5 spare turns: the guess limit minus the number of distinct answers. During play, subtract unsolved boards from guesses left. A guess that solves nothing spends one spare turn; a correct answer preserves the margin.
Suppose you have solved 2 of 4 boards in 5 guesses. You have 4 guesses left for 2 answers: 2 spare turns. A guess that solves no board reduces that margin by one; a correct answer preserves it. These are example counts, not player results or a recommended pace.
At zero spare turns, every remaining guess must solve a board to clear the puzzle. Below zero, keep solving for the best result you can. A positive margin gives you room to test letters, but does not guarantee a win.
Using the game controls
Select a board to focus it; the keyboard colours follow that board only. The Focus counter tells you which board you selected. All guesses shows older clue rows. Backspace or DEL edits your current word before you submit.
Practise without waiting
Infinite mode is free practice with a fresh random puzzle for each new run. There is no daily reset to wait for. Use it to try a different opening or scanning routine, and compare runs at the same board count.
